FORCED TO STAY AWAKE

"Tired Poem" "Weather Poem"

The weather is not letting me sleep in peace,
Humidity seems monsoon's closest niece.

Last two days I am kept awaken all night,
And had to tolerate an absconded fight,
With the humidity that prevails till now,
I have to unwillingly bend and bow,
To this stone hearted humidity,
That deprives me of life's most necessity.

Oh!Have mercy on my tired soul,
Stop warming me like wood charcoal,
Sleep,s the best thing I love to do,
But you treat me ill without clue,
Draining the last part of energy left,
It's been two nights I haven't slept.

What harm did I ever commit to you Lord?
That today you treat me with this reward?
